The school brings together medical doctors, radiology and nuclear medicine trainees, young researchers and Master and PhD students in nuclear medicine, physics and chemistry from Baltics and Europe with the aim to introduce the latest trends in radiopharmaceutical sciences, including radiolabelled chemistry, synthesis and dosimetry. The event includes theoretical lectures, scientific sessions and a public event.
The course will also include a visit to the Cyclotron facility in Riga and a social programme. Overall, trainees will acquire scientific knowledge to understand the most important aspects in radiochemistry, nuclear medicine, theranostics especially in precision medicine context.
The public event aims to highlight advancements in the multidisciplinary field of nuclear medicine, including radiopharmaceutical sciences, radioisotope production, clinical applications, and technological solutions.
It is designed for medical doctors, residents, trainees, young researchers, and students at the Bachelor, Master, or PhD level in nuclear medicine, physics, or chemistry, as well as anyone with an interest in the field.
